Who Am I?
Hello, my name is Leslie Burman. I am a Registered Dietitian (R.D.), Certified Diabetes Educator and Licensed Nutritionist (L.D. /N) for the State of Florida. I have been actively involved in nutrition education for the past 15 years.
I currently provide nutrition counseling to the public, servicing the South Florida Area.
My services specialize in those interested in health promotion, disease prevention, and weight loss management..
I received my Undergraduate Studies Degree from Florida State University, Tallahassee and board certified eligibility from Florida International University, Miami.
I currently hold advanced Training degrees from the American Dietetic Association in, both, Adolescent and Adult weight loss management.
I also utilize my training as a certified Myers Briggs Personality Instructor to assist with deciphering what nutrition education plan is most suited for individualized personality types.

Initial counseling session includes evaluation of past medical history in relation to current nutritional needs
Identify problem, set tangible and viable solutions to reach optimum health and wellness goals.
Solutions may include: Knowledge of current triggers, problems of concerns, behavior modification via hands on individualized approach to meet individualized and specialized needs.
Fees and Insurance
Please call for current fee-for-service rates. Rates vary depending on time, frequency, and email consultation services.
Will Insurance cover my visit?
Based on insurance companies, reimbursement might be rendered. If you have a health condition in which dietary nutritional needs are recognized as part of your care, you may be eligible for reimbursement. Your insurance company will be able to inform you of your current Medical Nutritional therapy coverage.
